Donate nowBritain's gardening charity, the Royal Horticultural Society, has a long and interesting history dating from 1804. Founded originally under the title The Horticultural Society of London, by Sir Joseph Banks and John Wedgwood, its aim was to collect information about all plants, and to encourage the improvement of horticultural practice. Today the Royal Horticultural Society is the UK's leading gardening charity dedicated to advancing horticulture, promoting and encouraging gardening for all.
The goal of the Royal Horticultural Society is to share their passion for plants and gardening with the widest possible audience in order to inspire and inform gardening in public and in private spaces. They promote their commitment to gardeners and gardening through inspirational flower shows and events, gardens, advice, research, learning & education and their role in community horticulture.
Join the RHS and receive a whole year of gardening benefits. Enjoy days out at RHS Gardens and Recommended Gardens around the UK.
