Donate nowAction Medical Research are now recruiting for the UK End 2 End 2011. From the 21st to the 31st May you can take on the ultimate cycling challenge that the United Kingdom has to offer. Cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats is the furthest distance in the British Isles and the best possible way to see the country.
There will be nine cycling days with an average daily mileage of around 100 miles and you'll be supported the whole way by mechanics, doctors, support staff and vehicles. All you need to worry about is the cycling and taking in the fantastic experience of a lifetime. You'll stay each night in a mobile tented village including fully assembled 2 man tents, central mess tent area with fixed seating, music, toilets, showers, medical and physio tents, bike servicing marquee, mobile bar, guest speakers and much more! The food menu will be devised by Science in Sport exclusively for this event, aimed at best meeting the nutritional demands of such a challenge. Action Medical Research have a large selection of 100-mile cycle challenges that take place around the UK which are open to all levels of cyclist. Upcoming rides include Bath 100 on the 3rd April, Peterborough 100 on the 10th April, Warwick 100 on the 17th April, Suffolk Sunrise 100 on the 8th May, Down 100 and Castle Ride 100 on 15th May, Cross-Border 100 Scotand and Cross-Border 100 England on 22nd May, Peak District 100 on 19th June plus at least another half dozen to choose from throughout the year.
