Pig of a Life Campaign from CIWF Charity

A Pig of a Life is the latest campaign from CIWF. Pigs are intelligent, inquisitive and sociable animals. Yet every year, millions endure a life of suffering in factory farms. Piglets are confined indoors, barren pens, their teeth clipped and tails docked, usually without anaesthetic. Pregnant sows are kept in cages so small they can't even turn around.

Sadly, these conditions are typical of intensive pig farming today. 1.3 million pigs are slaughtered each year for food and the majority are kept in intensive conditions which cause suffering and distress. Compassion in World Farming believe that pigs deserve better!
