BBC Lifeline Appeal

The Blue Cross are delighted to have been chosen as the subject of a BBC Lifeline Appeal fronted by actress and celebrity supporter Felicity Kendal.

The appeal will be broadcast on Sunday 25th October on BBC One at 16:25 and repeated on Wednesday 28th October on BBC Two at 14:00, so put it in your diaries now! The program will introduce viewers to some of the charming animals and people who benefit from the marvellous work of the Blue Cross. Viewers will be able to meet Carlos, the huge Great Dane and his owner, Mr Brennan, who both have heart problems.

The Blue Cross doesn't receive any government funding, but thanks to the kindness of the public, they can ensure that pets get the love and attention they deserve. Unfortunately, despite the hundreds of owners and animals that they are able to reach every day, there are still many more that need help.
