CLIC Sargent Charity

CLIC Sargent is the UK's leading children's cancer charity and the only organisation to offer them all round care and support. They provide the widest range of services and the highest number of care professionals to look after children and young people with cancer and their families.

CLIC Sargent was formed in 2005 after a successful merger between CLIC and Sargent Cancer Care for Children. Both had a rich history of excellent care and support and together they are stronger and more effective providing more for more children and young people with cancer and their families.

To be told that a child has cancer comes as a terrible shock. Yet to know that 7 out of 10 children now survive cancer may offer some kind of comfort and reassurance to families. Thanks to research into treatment and causes, the outlook is now one of hope, forward thinking and positive outcomes.

CLIC Sargent is committed to being there for each family, caring every step of the way, providing individual support to children and young people with cancer and leukaemia and their families through clinical, emotional, psychological, social and financial services in hospital, at home and in the community, being a strong voice and researching into improving treatment and care.

How your donations to CLIC Sargent Charity will be used?

Every day 10 families are told the devastating news that their child has cancer. CLIC Sargent is the only charity offering them care and support every step of the way. Make a difference today by helping a child with cancer in the following ways:

• £5/month will fund a CLIC Sargent play specialist for a day
• £10/month will accommodate a family at a CLIC Sargent Home from Home for at least a week
• £20 will fund a CLIC Sargent care grant

Right now CLIC Sargent are only helping two out of three families whose child has cancer. A regular donation is the most effective way of helping CLIC Sargent plan for the future.
